Travel Insurance

Travel insurance can protect you from a range of problems, from the bothersome to the disastrous, while you are on holiday. The chief advantage of having travel insurance is that it covers you for medical treatment if you are taken ill or are injured while on holiday.

You can also insure yourself in against having money or personal possessions stolen, and receive compensation if you have to curtail or cancel your holiday as a result of illness or injury.

There are a number of different types of travel insurance that can cover individuals or families, single trips or a number of trips in one year. Travel insurance cover will also vary according to where in the world you intend to travel to.

Please be aware that extreme sports and other dangerous activities will probably be excluded from cover with a standard level of travel insurance. It may be possible to take out specialist cover, however if you intend to snowboard or go bungee jumping for example.
